CATDOLL: The manga "Girls' Rakugo" stage play Nogizaka46 has been confirmed as the lead actor

According to Japanese media reports, the manga "Girls' Rakugo" has been confirmed to be adapted into a live-action stage play to be performed in Japan. The stage play will be performed by the female idol group "Nogizaka46" with Yasushi Akimoto as the general producer.

The stage play will be staged at the AiiA 2.5 Tokyo Theater in Shibuya, Tokyo from June 18 to 28. 15 actors will be divided into three groups to play the five characters in the comics. The final decision on which member will be lucky enough to play the role will be decided by the votes of the judges and fans.

The manga "Jishou Rakugoka" is written by Koji Kumeda, the author of "Goodbye Mr. Despair", and drawn by Yasu, who is known for his illustrations of "Tora × Dragon". It was serialized in Kodansha's "Bessatsu Shonen MAGAZINE". Later, the TV animation directed by Mizushima Tsutomu was broadcast on MBS and TBS, with a total of 13 episodes.
