CATDOLL: Japanese college student arrested for threatening to bomb a theater showing Pretty Cure

It is not uncommon to see all kinds of weird behaviors among anime fans, and there are many strange people who turn from love to hate and turn from fans to haters. According to the Metropolitan Police Department of Japan, a Japanese college student, Fumiya Ōtaki (22 years old), was arrested today (5th) for posting on Twitter that he would bomb theaters showing the popular anime series "Pretty Cure". At present, the suspect has admitted the crime and confessed that "I envied the characters in the movie for their hard work, spirit, and positive qualities, and my love for them turned into jealousy."

After a police search, no explosives were found near the theater mentioned by the suspect, and the screening was not affected. The police are currently investigating other related tweets.

"Pretty Cure" is a Japanese girl-oriented transformation hero animation produced by Asahi Broadcasting, Asahi Advertising and Toei Animation. It has been broadcast on Asahi Broadcasting and TV Asahi every Sunday morning since 2004, and has been broadcast for more than eleven years as of 2015. The 2015 theatrical version of "Pretty Cure All Stars: Spring Carnival" was broadcast on March 14, and this time it is precisely this theatrical animation that is mentioned.
