CATDOLL: Celebrating the release of the live-action movie, Yasuomi Umezu's animations "A KITE" and "MEZZO FORTE" are released on Blu-ray

A KITE, an 18+ anime film directed by Yasuomi Umezu in 1998, was the original author, screenwriter, storyboarder, director, and character designer. Since the announcement of a live-action film version on September 5, 2011, it was completed in February 2013 under the direction of director Ralph Ziman, and will be released in Japan on April 11. In order to celebrate, the official announced that the two masterpieces of Umezu that year would be released on BD Blu-ray discs!

Friends who have seen it all know (huh?) that these two animations are the pinnacle masterpieces of director Yasuomi Umezu, which combines bloody action, car chases, and bold sex. This time, the Blu-ray Disc version and the global production plan of the Hollywood live-action movie version should be the biggest driving force behind the scenes. I am really grateful and thank God! The BD covers of these two animations were redrawn by director Umezu! He also revealed on his blog: After more than ten years, I came back to draw Sawa, Umiko, etc. Because the old style of painting is no longer the same, it took a lot of effort to draw them (bitter smile)
