CATDOLL: BL comic adaptation movie "Sunday Lovers" posters and stills released

The live-action movie adaptation of the "Sunday Lovers" series was announced a few days ago, and the release date, promotional posters and the first batch of stills were released today. The series will be divided into the first part "Monday to Thursday" and the second part "Friday to Sunday", and will be released on June 6 and July 4 this year respectively.

The story describes the protagonist "Seryu Fuyuji" who is very popular on campus, but only dates the first person who confesses to her on Monday for a week. One Monday, a senior in the club "Shinobumatsu" half-jokingly proposes to date her, and the two become lovers for a week, and their immature love story unfolds.

This manga, written by Tachibana Benio and illustrated by BL queen Takarai Rito, won the fifth place in "KonoBL Gayaba" in 2010. The film adaptation will be directed by Kenji Yokoi, the director of the film version of the "Harukaze Monogatari" series, and the script will be written by Natsuko Takahashi, who was in charge of the script of the film version of "Untouchable Love" and the composition of the "My Story!!" series. The protagonist "Seryuu Fuyushi" will be played by "Hirose Tomoki", who played the role of Makishima Yuusuke in the "Yowamushi Pedal" stage play, and the role of Shinonomi will be played by "Yamada Jimusutake", a model who has participated in the Japanese drama "Hell Teacher Kamie", and several new generation actors Hinako Tanaka, Yuki Hiyori, Rin Ishikawa, and Yukihiro Takiguchi will also participate in the performance.
