CATDOLL: "Death Note" is back! Live-action musical video revealed

The official rehearsal video of the Death Note musical composed by American composer Frank Wildhorn was recently released. The six songs performed by several Japanese actors are wonderful, recreating many classic plots in the original work. I wonder if domestic audiences will feel uncomfortable when seeing this kind of performance where people start singing while talking? Come on, after all, we are all people who experienced the Legend of the New White Snake in our childhood! Although it is a bit embarrassing that the death god Ryuk dances happily with Misa Amane and makes DJ-like movements... But we have to admit that as a commemorative project for the tenth anniversary of Death Note, this musical has added a lot of charm to this classic comic that has already been released in animation, movies, and TV series.

The musical will be performed at the Sunrise Theater in Tokyo from April 6 to 29, and will tour to Osaka and Nagoya in May. A Korean version will also be released in July and August, but with a different cast.
