CATDOLL: Tokyo Ghoul manga sales exceed 11.11 million copies, thanks to the author for drawing the manga himself

The ratings of the TV animation "Tokyo Ghoul" have remained high since its broadcast, and the original manga is naturally not to be outdone. Recently, Shueisha's manga magazine "YOUNGJUMP" celebrated on the cover that the cumulative sales of the serialized manga "Tokyo Ghoul" series has exceeded 11.11 million copies, and the author Sui Ishida also drew a picture himself to express his gratitude to the readers.

Since the TV animation of Tokyo Ghoul was adapted in July 2014, it has boosted the sales of comics to a certain extent. The latest volume 14, which was released in October last year after the animation, topped the list with nearly 290,000 copies in the first three days. According to statistics as of August 2014, the total sales of Tokyo Ghoul single volumes were 7.2 million copies. Six months later, it reached 11.11 million copies.
