CATDOLL: Hirano Kouta's manga "Drifting Samurai" will be animated

The youth manga "Drifting Samurai" created by Japanese manga artist Hirano Kouta has been confirmed to be adapted into an animation. However, the animation project is currently in production and there is no other news. The work has been serialized since the June 2009 issue of the monthly magazine "YOUNG KING OURs" published by Shonen Gahosha, and 4 volumes have been released so far.

"Drifting Samurai" is an action-themed historical fantasy work that combines Japanese samurai, ancient tacticians, gunners in the Western Development era, soldiers during World War II and other heroic characters, and is set in a medieval-style alien world. The story tells that in 1600 AD, Shimazu Toyohisa, who was a rearguard for the Shimazu army in the Battle of Sekigahara, was summoned to a different world full of elves and oaks, where he met Oda Nobunaga and Nasu Yoichi who had the same experience.
