CATDOLL: Japan's Tokai University offers a course on appreciation of Puella Magi Madoka Magica

We have previously reported that universities in China and abroad have opened various courses related to animation, including "Detective Conan" in our country and "Sword Art Online" in Japan. In fact, this shows from one side that Japanese animation works cover a wide range of areas. They are not just something that people forget after watching, but there are deep connotations to be explored.

The liberal arts course "Knowing Flauntia" currently offered by Tokai University in Japan has a course theme of "Magical Girls Are Not Born" and the content is to learn related courses by watching the animation "Puella Magi Madoka Magica". There are a total of 15 classes. The purpose of this course is to improve students' self-thinking ability, article reading ability and intelligence acquisition ability. As soon as this course was launched, it immediately attracted many school students, and even a long queue formed outside the classroom. Due to the large number of students, the school had to change to a larger classroom for this class.

The lecturer of this course is Shimizu Yoshio, a professor of Japanese literature at Tokai University with a doctorate in literature. He is currently focusing on the genealogy of Kojiki and the history of interpretation of Nihon Shoki. He has published papers and books such as "A Study on the Generation of Kojiki" and "The Structure of Kojiki".
