CATDOLL: 76-year-old legendary animator Keiichiro Kimura's new work crowdfunding campaign begins

Keiichiro Kimura, a legendary figure who has worked on famous animation works such as "Tiger Mask" and "Cyborg 009" and is still fighting on the front line of painting at the age of 76, recently announced his new work "GO! SAMURAI" and started crowdfunding on the Kickstarter website on October 21.

"GO! SAMURAI" depicts a samurai named KEI who bravely fights against hundreds of enemies. He described this work as "an extremely enjoyable animation". From the plot to the painting, everything was done by Kimura alone. The film is about 5 minutes long, and a total of about 2,000 paintings were needed.

Kimura said that after the animation is completed, it will be screened at major anime/film and television exhibitions around the world, and this work is only the first batch. After the second batch of "GO! SAMURAI" is released, it will be combined with the first batch into a DVD and released.
