CATDOLL: Nakamura Asumiko's BL manga "Classmates" will be released in theaters

Fans have been paying close attention to Nakamura Asumiko's popular BL manga "Classmates" since it was announced that it would be adapted into an animation. Recently, the work finally announced the good news of the upcoming theatrical version on its official website.

"Classmates" tells the story of two high school students with very different personalities: Kusabaki Hikaru, who is handsome and also joins a band, and Sajo Toshito, a serious and meticulous bespectacled man. Sajo, who was practicing singing alone, was attracted by Kusabaki's singing, and this triggered the subsequent story.

The production team that can be confirmed at present is that Kenji Nojima will play Sajo Toshito and Hikaru Kamiya will play Kusanagi Hikaru. Nakamura Akiko will be the supervisor, and the character design will be done by Hayashi Akemi. The animation production company is A-1 Pictures.
