CATDOLL: "Wake Up, Girls!" comic adaptation to begin serialization in May

Kadokawa magazine Comp Ace announced in its June issue published today (April 25) that it will serialize the manga Wake Up, Girls!, adapted from the original idol animation of the same name, in the July issue of the magazine to be published on May 26. The manga is written by Green Leaves and illustrated by Kaga Kento.

At the same time, the magazine also announced that the manga of the same name adapted from the light novel "Masou Gakuen HxH" written by Kuji Masamune and illustrated by Hisasi will begin serialization in the August issue of the magazine published on June 26. The manga is drawn by Ayakawariku.

"Wake Up, Girls!" is an original idol animation co-produced by Tatsunoko Productions. The TV animation and the theatrical version "Wake Up, Girls! Seven Idols" were broadcast on January 10, 2014. The second theatrical version is scheduled to be released in 2015 and will be independently produced by Ordet. It is abbreviated as "WUG".
