CATDOLL: BL manga "Wait for me in Udagawa-cho" will be adapted into a live-action movie

There seem to be quite a few BL comic adaptations in Japan this year, including the live-action version of "Sunday Lovers" and the animated theatrical version of "Classmates". Now there is another BL work, the BL comic "Wait for Me in Udagawa-cho" (宇田川町で待っててよ。) with a theme of men in women's clothing, which will be adapted into a live-action movie. It is reported that the director of this work will be Noriko Yuasa, and the two protagonists in the play will be played by Mario Kuroba and Ryugi Yokota. This work will be released on July 25.

"Wait for Me at Udagawa-cho" was ranked 5th in the 2014 "This BL is Amazing" manga. The story describes how Momose, who is not very noticeable in the class, accidentally witnessed his classmate Yashiro dressed as a woman in Shibuya. Momose regretted seeing something he shouldn't have seen, but at the same time, a strange feeling surged in his heart. His mind was full of things about Yashiro. Although Yashiro didn't know what Momose was thinking, he couldn't refuse Momose's request for him to wear a girl's uniform... A young love story between teenage high school boys.
