CATDOLL: CCTV Weibo refutes rumor: Conan One Piece ban is indeed a rumor

Recently, there have been rumors online that Conan and One Piece have been removed from the shelves. The reason why the editor did not follow up on this matter is because it is purely fabricated. As expected, just recently, the official Weibo account of China Central Television's New Anime Channel, "CCTV New Anime Channel", spoke out to refute the rumor, saying that the popular anime One Piece and Detective Conan being banned were indeed rumors, and most video websites had not received any relevant news.

The Weibo post read, "Good morning. It has now been confirmed that the ban of One Piece and Conan is indeed a rumor. Not only are the names of these two anime not listed in the relevant information, but most video sites have not received the relevant information, and the person who posted the information has also deleted the relevant Weibo post."

As for the problem of some animations being taken off the shelves, a considerable part of it is due to copyright issues, so there is no need to worry too much. However, it is true that the Ministry of Culture has recently investigated and dealt with violent and terrorist illegal animations, and coupled with the objective reports of some TV stations, a considerable number of animation fans are very dissatisfied. It is not wise for some people to choose to make a big news for their own benefit. All of this is attributed to the low cost of spreading rumors, and the responsibility can be put aside as long as the information is deleted afterwards. I only hope that the disseminators of such news will respect themselves in the future and not spread it irresponsibly without confirming the source of the news, and everyone should not believe in rumors, which will cause worse effects.

The official Weibo account of China Central Television's Xinke Animation Channel reported on what happened:

Two heavyweight anime works that have been rumored to be "taken off the shelves" recently:

<<:  CATDOLL: GalileoGalilei to sing the theme song of the movie "Typhoon Norda"

>>:  CATDOLL: The final chapter of Code Geass: Akito the Lost Nation will be released in the fall of 2015
