CATDOLL: "The Monkey King: Hero is Back" shortlisted for the Best Animated Feature Film Oscar

The domestic animated film "The Monkey King: Hero is Back" was once praised as a milestone in China. The super high box office performance of Makoto Shinkai's "Your Name." made it nominated for an Oscar. Recently, the list of entries for the 89th Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature Film was revealed, and "The Monkey King: Hero is Back" was on the list of 27 candidates.

If it wins the next few rounds of competition and is nominated for an Oscar, it will be the first time that a Chinese animated feature film has been nominated for an Oscar!
