CATDOLL: The Croods 2 is hopeless, the first project to be cancelled after DreamWorks was acquired

In 2013, the 3D animated film "The Croods" produced by DreamWorks Animation received positive reviews from the audience and earned a total of $580 million in box office revenue. Subsequently, "The Croods" also announced that it would produce a second season of animation.

However, the official recently announced that it has decided to cancel the sequel to "The Croods 2"! This is also the first project that DreamWorks Animation has canceled since Universal's parent company, American cable giant Comcast, acquired DreamWorks Animation for 3 billion in April this year.

Originally, "The Croods 2" was scheduled to be released on January 5, 2018. The sequel still uses the duo of Chris Sanders and Kirk De Micco. The story will continue from the end of the first episode. The audience will see more interactions between Guy, the heroine Eep, and her father Grug. The main voice actors Ryan Reynolds, Nicolas Cage, and Emma Stone will all return. But in the end, it still couldn't escape the fate of being cut.
