CATDOLL: "Angel Beats" BDBOX cover revealed, new OVA preview released

All members of the afterlife battle front have gathered together, and our Angel-chan is back! Recently, the official website of "Angel Beats" announced the BDBOX cover image newly drawn by the original character designer Na-Ga, and Dengeki Bunko also revealed the advance image of the new OVA "Hell's Kitchen".

The Angel Beats BDBOX is scheduled to be released on June 24th. It not only includes all 13 episodes of the TV animation version, but also includes the special episode 1 "Stairway to Heaven" produced when the disc was originally released, and the special episode 2 "Hell's Kitchen" produced based on the new script written by Jun Maeda. In addition, the official website also revealed that the latest promotional video of the OVA "Hell's Kitchen" will be released on May 21st, and the disc box art drawn by Yuzo Hirata, who is in charge of character design and general animation supervision, will be announced on May 28th.

Angel Beats is a project involving animation, comics and other related works jointly produced by Key, ANIPLEX and Dengeki G's magazine. The animation was produced by PAWORKS and started broadcasting in April 2010. Angel Beats was written by Jun Maeda, who has worked on Key's representative game works such as CLANNAD and Little Busters! The theme of the series revolves around "life" and is set in the world after death, telling the story of boys and girls who resist fate.
