"Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" will launch a remastered theatrical animation. This work will be produced in 7 chapters and will be released in Japan in February 2017. At the same time, the voice actors and production staff of the protagonists have also been announced. "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" is the latest series of "Space Battleship Yamato". In terms of voice actors, Koshiro Susumu will continue to be voiced by Daisuke Ono from "Space Battleship Yamato 2199", and Yuki Mori will be played by Houko Kuwashima. The director is Nobuyoshi Hahara, who previously worked on "Space Battleship Yamato: Resurrection", and the assistant director is Makoto Kobayashi who worked on "Space Battleship Yamato 2199".

"Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" will hold a pre-release press conference on February 6, 2017, at which time more detailed information will be announced.
