CATDOLL: Kanata Hongo confirmed to play the main role in the TV series "Dou Pai Chuan" adapted from the manga

The TV series adapted from Nobuyuki Fukumoto's manga "Dou Pai Tales" is confirmed to start airing on July 17 this year. Today, the official announced the two main actors. Kanata Hongo, who once starred in the live-action version of "The Prince of Tennis", is confirmed to play the protagonist Akagi Shigeru in this work, and his opponent Washiwa Iwa is played by Masahiko Tsukawa. The whole play has 10 episodes, each lasting 60 minutes. The director and performance are Iwamoto Hitoshi and Kubota Mitsuru. The script is written by Tanabe Mitsuru. The theme song is "DON'T BE AFRAID" sung by Shonan Nokaze. This TV series will tell the story of the Washiwa Mahjong Arc, where blood is used instead of cash.
