CATDOLL: Saint Seiya author Masami Kurumada's new manga will begin serialization on July 16

Masami Kurumada's autobiographical manga "Blue Age Ichigo Ichie (original name: 藍の時代一期一會)", who created the golden age of "Saint Seiya", will be serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" No. 33 (Akita Shoten) on July 16. This work tells the story of Masami Kurumada's journey from junior high school to the birth of "Kumuda Manga".

The slogan of this work was announced in the 32nd issue of "Weekly Shonen Champion" released today (July 9): "Looking back, 40 years have passed. I was far from being a scholar, nor was I a bad boy. I saw hope for the future in boys' comics." This autobiographical comic is the last part of the 40th anniversary commemoration plan of Masami Kurumada's debut as a cartoonist.
