CATDOLL: Gintama Season 4 starts on January 8, 2017! It’s too early to say it’s over

The fourth season of Gintama is confirmed to start airing on January 8, 2017 at 1:35 am! Although the official announcement of the new animation was made on September 21, we have to give a thumbs up to the official announcement for coming so quickly.

The first three seasons of the anime have already finished the "Shogun Assassination Arc" and "Goodbye Shinsengumi Arc", and the fourth season is likely to directly start the final chapter of the manga. However, with some "daily" animations, there is still a long way to go before the real ending.

"Gintama" is a series of TV animation works adapted from the manga of the same name created by Japanese manga artist Sorachi Hideaki. It tells the story of Sakata Gintoki, Shimura Shinpachi, and Kagura in running Yorozuya. It is produced by Sunrise Animation.
