The 7th China International Film, Television and Animation Copyright Protection and Trade Expo Animation "Golden Goat Award" ceremony was held at the Guangdong Modern International Convention and Exhibition Center in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province on the evening of August 20.

The purpose of this award ceremony is to "showcase original splendor, carry forward the spirit of the times, and promote cross-border integration", with the theme of "creativity, integration, and dreams". Leaders and guests from the Guangdong Provincial Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television Bureau, Guangdong Radio and Television Station, domestic and foreign animation pioneer industries, and 32 children's cartoon channels attended the award ceremony.

The award ceremony kicked off with the innovative interpretation of the fashion flash show "Crazy Anime". In order to ensure fairness, impartiality and openness, this competition is screened layer by layer, divided into five stages: qualification review, preliminary review, re-review, final review and public announcement. It is reported that a total of 1,126 excellent works from home and abroad were collected for selection, and 30 government agencies, industry organizations, and professional colleges recommended them, covering animation, comics, games, new media and other categories, including "Best Animation Film Award", "Best TV Animation Award", "Best International Cooperation Award" and other ten comprehensive awards have been fiercely contested. In addition to selecting excellent animation works, this year's "Golden Goat Award" competition aims to discover more animation creators with original ability, encourage and reward animation originality and the construction and development of the animation industry chain.

The cartoon mascot "Le Le" of this year's Comic Expo is newly unveiled. Its designer Wu Guanying is one of the designers of the mascot "Fuwa" of the 29th Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. "The Return of the Great Sage" won the grand prize

It has exceeded 900 million box office in 38 days after its release, breaking various records of Chinese animated films. 600 people participated in the project, which lasted 8 years. It took up to 12 hours to carve a single frame. Its Chinese elements, Chinese manufacturing, and Chinese style made it the "Tip of China" in the animation industry, allowing "Journey to the West" to travel west from then on, creating the era of Chinese animated films.
