CATDOLL: "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" storyboard released, the secrets of Frieza's army exposed

The movie version of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" was released on BD on October 7. In the storyboard bonus included with the BD, many secrets about the Frieza Army in the play were revealed, and many details were also changed.

From the storyboard photos posted by netizens, we can see many scenes that are completely different from the plot. In the movie, Torgma, a subordinate of Thorby, was beaten into space by the resurrected Frieza wearing armor; but in the storyboard, Torgma was not the style adopted later, and Frieza did not have armor. Everything is in line with what director Naoki Yamamuro said - "Armor is a part of the body, which is a setting that only Toriyama knows." Obviously, when he drew this storyboard, he did not know the specific character setting plan.

In the picture below, it is marked next to the storyboard that "Tagma was rescued by the soldiers." In the feature film, Tagma was knocked away and disappeared into the universe. His life or death is unknown, and he never appeared again.

In the storyboard, it is also written that it was Tagore who fought Piccolo in close combat and was killed instantly by Super Saiyan Gohan, which means that "Red Bull" Sisamy is a character who never appeared in the storyboard. It is still a mystery why the production team forced Tagore to leave the official plot and set up a new character.

Sami in the theatrical version

In addition, the main film also deleted a plot that was included in both the script and the comic version, in which Tagema was worried about Frieza's dictatorship. This line was key to shaping the character, and it was a pity that it was deleted. Netizens also hope that "Dragon Ball: Super" can make up for this detail.

At the same time, Solbe's original name in the first draft was Chidel. Like Tagama, the settings of both characters were changed in the feature film. Tagama was originally similar to Nappa in size, while Solbe (Chidel) looked more handsome and powerful, completely different from the blue dwarf in the feature film. So the one that Frieza shot out of the spaceship and rescued was still Tagama, but the storyboard still showed the original draft style. This set of shots is a mixture of two sets of styles. It is speculated that Yamamuro Naoki may not have drawn them in the order of the story.

Finally, the whistleblower also said that the storyboards and the script did not directly say that Tagma was as "strong" as Sabo. If he was really as strong as Sabo, then it would be a bit abrupt to let this important character leave the stage so hastily.
