CATDOLL: Hideaki Anno leads the production of the short animation "HILL CLIMB GIRL" broadcast today

The second short animation "Hill Climb Girl" was released at the "Japan Animation (People) Expo" jointly held by Hideaki Anno's Khara Studio and Nico Animation's parent company Dwango. This animation was completed by a large number of outstanding animators, who are basically related to Hideaki Anno, and are therefore also called the "Anno Army".

This short animation is directed by Yato, the 3D director is Ken Miyagi who was the line director of "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" and the character design is done by Mai Yoneyama, a female painter from GAINAX. There are only two voice actors in this work, Koichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara. Although "Hill Climb Girl" is only a short animation of nearly 8 minutes, the quality of this short animation is definitely not inferior to traditional theatrical animation under the creation of the Anno team.
