CATDOLL: Pixar's short animation "Sanjay's Super Troopers" first releases trailer of an Indian boy's meditation world

Pixar's first 3D animated film "The Good Dinosaur" will be released in North America on November 25. According to convention, a short film is usually shown after the film ends, and this short film is "Sanjay's Super Troopers". Today, the official released the first trailer and several concept drawings. The style, story and theme of this short film are different from Pixar's previous works.

"Sanjay's Super Team" is adapted by Indian-American director Sanjay Patel based on his real experience. The film tells the story of an Indian boy named Sanjay who is addicted to TV cartoons, while his father hopes that he can focus more on a certain morning meditation ritual. During meditation, Sanjay imagines that three gods - the goddess of war Durga, the god of protection Vishnu and the monkey Hanuman - come to real life and form a superhero team with him...

The first clip shows a TV battle between Sanjay, who is addicted to superhero animation, and his meditating father. In the end, his father turns off the TV, and Sanjay has to meditate. It is also worth mentioning that the soundtrack of the short film is composed by Mychal Danner, who composed the music for Life of Pi.
