"Crazy Alien" tells the story of the hilarious yet heartwarming adventures of "Xiaoou", an alien from the "Planet Bobo", and "Xiaoqian", a little girl from Earth. The film is aimed at a very young age group in terms of character setting, plot and jokes. It was previously rumored that DreamWorks gave up the original Thanksgiving schedule last year to "Penguins of Madagascar" because it was not optimistic about the box office of the film.
