CATDOLL: "Dagashi Wars" announced to be adapted into a light novel, written by the author of Nayako

The popular manga "Dagashi Wars" which began serialization in 2014 and attracted a large number of readers' attention in a short period of time, following the previous announcement that it would be adapted into an animation in early 2016, the official news has now been officially announced that the work will be adapted into a light novel and the title has been confirmed to be "Dagashi Wars Another Summer Vacation".

The news of the light novelization of "Dagashi Wars" was published in the Japanese Gagashi Bunko's new publication description for December 2015. According to the official introduction, "Dagashi Wars Another Summer Vacation" will be written by Manta Aikura, the author of "Sneak Nyaku", and the original author "Kotoyama" will be responsible for the illustrations. It is expected to be released on December 18.

"Sweets War" tells the story of the protagonist, Shikada Kyu, who lives in a remote peninsula and is asked by his father to inherit the family business of "Shikada Sweets Shop".
