CATDOLL: Scum’s Wish to be adapted into a live-action TV series to be broadcast simultaneously with the anime

"Scum's Original Wish" created by Japanese female manga artist Mengo Yokogura will start TV animation in January. Recently, the official announced that the work will be adapted into a live-action TV series and will be broadcast simultaneously with the TV animation.

Actors of the live-action version: Hanabi Azuruoka: Miu Yoshimoto, Awaya Mai: Toru Sakurada, Narumi Kanei: Kosei Mizuta, Sanae Egato: Sarie Ikegami, Akane Minagawa: Rina Aizawa

The works of cartoonist Mengo Yokogura include adult comics and adult comics targeting male readers, but Scum's Original Wish was created with the goal of being read by both women and men. She depicts a story of "difficult love", and the prototype is taken from things that happened around her.

Hanabi and Mugi seem like an ideal couple, but in reality they are just "contract lovers" who are troubled by an unrealized relationship. They live a life of treating each other as loved ones and feeling each other's warmth. They are young and immature, constantly getting hurt for their loved ones. This is a pure love story that is simpler than anyone else but more twisted.
