CATDOLL: CV for the new January show "The Street Where Only I Am Missing": I'm not nervous about dubbing for the first time

In January 2016, the official voice actors of the new animation "The Town Where Only I Am Missing" selected Manshima Shinosuke and Tao Tsuchiya to voice the protagonist Fujinuma Satoru. Manshima Shinosuke was the first to participate in the dubbing of an animation. In an interview, he said, "For the first time dubbing, I am not nervous."

Talking about his first experience with this job, Manshima said happily: "I just feel happy. When it comes to stage performances, people care more about the image of the actors, but voice actors must perform with their voices. After I determined my voice, I played my best. It was fun and I didn't feel uneasy."

For Manshima, who "only reads comics occasionally", he had never read the original work before. After being confirmed to play the role, he made up for the work and said with emotion: "The plot makes me very excited."

In the anime, Manshima voiced the 29-year-old Satoru, and Tsuchiya voiced the 10-year-old Satoru. The 29-year-old Satoru is a third-rate cartoonist and is not good at dealing with people. Therefore, his tone is very flat when he speaks. Manshima sighed: "This is a completely different person from me." When talking about other voice actors, Manshima said: "I think it's amazing to see other voice actors suddenly change their voices! I like fresh stimulation, so I integrated into the scene all of a sudden. This world is very interesting!"

Finally, when asked about his experience as a voice actor, Manshima replied, "I will definitely use this experience in the future. I will think about the importance of language and become more sensitive to it. If there is an opportunity, I hope to continue dubbing. In addition, it would be nice to be able to act in a comedy."
