CATDOLL: Japanese TV station starts broadcasting American version of "Doraemon" and the yen turns into dollars

Some details of life in the previous "Doraemon" animation were modified by the United States to be more in line with American habits. For example, the names of the protagonists were changed (Nobita-Noby, Shizuka-Sue, Fat Tiger-Big G, Suneo-Sneech), Japanese yen was changed to US dollars, chopsticks were changed to forks, sweet potato stalls were changed to popcorn, store names were changed from Japanese to English, 0 points were changed to F points, etc. This caused heated discussions among fans.

This American version of the animation will be broadcast on the Disney Channel in Japan on February 1st. I wonder if the Japanese people like the foreign adaptation of their own work being broadcast in Japan?
