CATDOLL: The fifth season of Natsume's Book of Friends is coming in October 2016

However, after the launch of the fourth season of the animation, there has been no news of the launch of a new animation. Today, according to foreign media reports, the fifth season of "Natsume's Book of Friends" is finally coming, and it is confirmed that it will be released in the autumn of 2016. The main production of the fifth season remains unchanged, and Takahiro Omori has become the general supervisor.

The Hakusensha manga magazine LaLa, which is scheduled to be released this Thursday, announced the news that the ongoing manga Natsume's Book of Friends will release the long-awaited fifth season of the anime in October this year, four years after the fourth season. The fifth season of the anime continues the production lineup of the fourth season but with slight adjustments. Omori Takahiro serves as the general supervisor, and Dego Kotomi, the supervisor of Natsume's Book of Friends OVA, serves as the executive supervisor. This time, the animation production company has changed from "Brain's Base" to Suzuka, which was originally an independent company from the third production department of "Brain's Base". The voice actors will still use the previous lineup.

"Natsume's Book of Friends" is a manga by Yuki Midorikawa. It tells the story of Takashi Natsume who got the "Book of Friends" made of contracts from his grandmother Reiko's belongings. He decided to return the names of the monsters in the Book of Friends one by one. Around Natsume, various monsters began to gather.
