CATDOLL: Dragon Ball's "Goku Day" is here again, with tons of congratulatory images pouring in

Since "59" and the Japanese word "Wukong" are similar in pronunciation, May 9th of each year is recognized as Dragon Ball's "Wukong Day" in Japan. On yesterday's Wukong Day, many artists posted their own celebratory pictures on Twitter.

Although it is designated as "Goku Day", May 9 is not Goku's real birthday (Goku still has no official birthday). On May 9 last year, in order to honor Goku's outstanding contributions, the Japan Memorial Day Association officially announced May 9 as "Goku Day". Goku's voice actor Masako Nozawa also accepted the memorial day landing certificate as a representative, which became a carnival for the majority of Dragon Ball fans.

This year is the second year that "Goku Day" has been officially established. Dragon Ball fans have been unable to hold back their excitement and have been drawing pictures to celebrate Goku. According to Twitter statistics, the search term "Goku Day" became one of the hot topics yesterday (May 9). The pictures drawn by artists from all over the world were liked enthusiastically by fans. The annual carnival of Dragon Ball fans has begun again!
