CATDOLL: Kyoto Grand Prix work "Violet Evergarden" will be animated

The Japanese light novel "Violet Evergarden" written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase announced today that it will be animated. Now the animation announcement PV has also been released. I have to say that the picture of this PV is really beautiful. "Violet Evergarden" is a very orthodox girl-themed work. The heroine Violet Evergorden is an auto-memory doll girl belonging to the C.H. Postal Service. She and the president of the C.H. Postal Service, Hawkins, Leidenshaftlich, and the National Army soldier Gilbert Bougainvillea, unfold a poignant story.

Violet Evergarden animation informed CM:

Violet Evergarden is a Japanese light novel written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase, published and distributed by KA Esumi Bunko. [1] It won the 5th Kyoto Animation Grand Prix, and is the first and only official grand prize winner since the Kyoto Grand Prix was held. Although it has not yet been announced who will produce the animation, it feels very appropriate for Kyoto Animation to produce such a work. CM storyboard and director: Taichi Ishidate, character design and animation supervisor: Akiko Takase.
