CATDOLL: China will make a live-action movie of "Gambling Apocalypse" and add new characters

It seems that there have been a lot of news about domestic companies remaking Japanese anime into live-action movies recently. Recently, another Japanese manga "Gambling Apocalypse" will be made into a live-action movie by a Chinese company. It is reported that China Ruyi Film has obtained the Chinese film adaptation rights for the manga "Gambling Apocalypse" written by Nobuyuki Fukumoto. The film company said that in addition to the original content, the Chinese version of "Gambling Apocalypse" will add new characters, and the characters in the play will also break the setting of all male characters in the comics, and put the story in the vague concept of national boundaries, committed to creating "pan-Asianization" and turning the concept of "gambling" into a "GAME".

Currently, the live-action film version of "Gamble Apocalypse" is in the process of selecting a director. Ruyi said that this is a film that belongs to the world, and they will definitely find the most suitable and creative young director to direct it.

"Gambling Apocalypse" is the first part of Mr. Nobuyuki Fukumoto's Kaiji gambling trilogy. Since 1996, "Gambling Apocalypse", "Gambling Break Record", and "Gambling Fall Record" have been serialized in "Weekly Young Magazine" and are collectively referred to as the "Kaiji" series. The "Kaiji" series has a total of 39 volumes as of 2008. It is a popular work that has sold more than 10 million copies and its popularity is as stable as Mount Tai. In 2005, "Dou Pai Legend" and in 2007, "Gambling Apocalypse" were both adapted into TV animations, and later Japan also launched a live-action version.
