CATDOLL: Chinese dubbing of animated film "The Secret Life of Pets" revealed, with He Jiong and Chen Peisi lending their voices

The animated film "The Secret Life of Pets", created by the original team of "Despicable Me", will be released in China on August 2. The film company today revealed for the first time the powerful cast of the Chinese version of the film. He Jiong voices the male lead, the small dog Mike, while the popular villain Xiaobai is voiced by the famous comedian Chen Peisi.

He Jiong has dubbed many cartoons. He joined "The Secret Life of Pets" this time. He thinks that Mike's complex emotional ups and downs are rich and challenging. Mike is a small family dog with high loyalty in the film. After his owner brought the stray dog Du Lao Da home, Mike's life changed dramatically. In the movie, Mike is not always enthusiastic, kind, and positive. As the adventure progresses, his emotions have been changing in layers, but these are not difficult for Mr. He, who is a first-line host and successful director.

Interestingly, Xiaobai, voiced by Chen Peisi, has a completely opposite personality to Mike. Xiaobai has no trust in humans and is very hostile. He even gathered abandoned pets together to form the New York Abandoned Pet Alliance. Under the cute appearance, Xiaobai is actually wild inside and full of leadership. In order to perfectly present the contrast of Xiaobai, Chen Peisi used all his strength to complete all the dubbing work while standing during the dubbing process. Chen Peisi said: "This role makes me 'unable to sit' because this strength requires the whole body to penetrate." During the dubbing process, Chen Peisi, who was intoxicated by the role, devoted himself wholeheartedly, and his profound drama performance skills made the role shine.

The Secret Life of Pets is directed by Chris Renaud, who directed the Despicable Me series, and produced by famous animation producer Chris Meledandri. The script is co-written by Brian Lynch, the screenwriter of Minions, and Cinco Paul and Ken Doreo, the screenwriters of the Despicable Me series. Comedy superstar Louis CK and Kevin Hart voice Mike and Xiao Bai in the English version respectively. The film will be released nationwide in 2D, 3D and China Giant Screen formats on August 2.
