The OAD animation of the same name "The Ancient Magus' Bride: Waiting for the Stars (Part 2)" adapted from the popular fantasy manga "The Ancient Magus' Bride" will be released on February 4, 2017.

The protagonist of "The Ancient Magus' Bride" is a girl named Chise Hatori, who has strange powers. She lost her father and mother at a young age. She was auctioned off and bought by the inhuman beast-headed magician Elias, who claimed that he would take Chise as his apprentice and bride. The movie tells the story of Chise's childhood.
