CATDOLL: Godzilla theatrical animation "GODZILLA" reveals luxurious voice actor lineup

Previously, Toho announced that it would produce the first Godzilla theatrical animation, which is scheduled to be released in 2017. The script is written by Gen Urobuchi, and the directors are Shizuno Konfumi and Seshita Hiroyuki. Recently, the official animation theater "GODZILLA" announced the voice actor lineup of this work, Yuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Tomokazu Sugita, Mamoru Miyano, Kana Hanazawa, and Junichi Suwabe will all join this work. Such a production lineup and voice actor lineup are really luxurious, which makes people look forward to this theater version even more.

As a classic Japanese monster special effects movie series, "Godzilla" is actually divided into two series, the Japanese version and the American version. This time, Toho's theatrical animation uses the title of the American version of Godzilla, "GODZILLA". Although this Toho theatrical animation "GODZILLA" follows the title of the American version of Godzilla series, the plot should not have any direct connection. The official concept map currently released shows humans, space capsules and robots appearing in a place that looks like an alien. The actual producer of this animation is the Japanese 3DCG animation company Polygon Pictures. Previously, this company specialized in undertaking Hollywood movie special effects work, and "Knights of Sidonia" and "Ajin" are both representative works of this company.
