CATDOLL: April 2017 new animation PV of "A Chinese Ghost Story" released

On August 27, NetEase, together with Fanfan Animation, Clock Dance and ADK Group, jointly announced the animation of "A Chinese Ghost Story". Production has begun in the first quarter and is expected to be released in April 2017. In addition, a 1-minute video PV, character design pictures and production team were also released.

The story of the animation "New A Chinese Ghost Story" is adapted from "A Chinese Ghost Story". The original work tells the story of a young Yan Chixia who aspires to become an excellent demon hunter. He chooses Black Mountain as the starting point of his practice and dream journey. There are many ancient elves and monsters in Black Mountain. They live a primitive life, rough and simple but full of murderous breath. Yan Chixia experienced one dangerous battle after another, which made his sword more terrifying, his power more powerful, and he even believed that he could overcome everything; until that day, he met Nie Xiaoqian.

Many years later, all the rivers under the Black Mountain suddenly dried up, and people suddenly faced a survival crisis of drought. In order to save their livelihoods, they decided to form a mountain-opening team to go to the upper reaches of the Black Mountain to reclaim water. The mountain-opening team encountered strange events and fled one after another, only Ning Caichen resolutely stayed. Xiaoqian, a civet cat spirit who had just taken human form, fell in love with Ning Caichen, but faced many crises from tree demons, demon hunters and the human world. So civilized humans had to collide with ancient spirits, and a romantic legend was born.
