CATDOLL:TRIGGER's "Ninja Slayer" to be aired in April 2015

The previously announced animation of "Ninja Slayer" (ニンジャスレイヤー/NINJA SLAYER) has recently confirmed the release date of the animation. The animation is expected to be broadcast in the spring of 2015 (April) and will be produced by TRIGGER, which also produced "Kill la Kill"!

The anime "Ninja Slayer" is adapted from the American-style new-style ninja manga co-created by American writers Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez. The work has set off a trend on Twitter. Since its publication in September 2012, eight volumes of single-volume books have been sold so far. The Traditional Chinese version is represented by Taiwan Kadokawa and has been published in two volumes. The manga version is written by Kotaro Sekine and began serialization in the web magazine "Wednesday Sirius" under the monthly Shonen Sirius on January 22, 2014.

Fujikido Kenji is an ordinary office worker. His wife died in a ninja fight. When he was on the verge of death, he was possessed by a mysterious ninja spirit! Fujikido, who survived, became a "Ninja Slayer" and specialized in hunting down ninjas to fight for revenge! Set in the near-future city of Shin-Saitama, the life-and-death duel between Ninja Slayer and Ninja begins!
