CATDOLL: "Doamai D" voice actors and production content revealed

The alternative nostalgic TV animation "Doamai D" which will be broadcast on KBS Kyoto and TVK from January 2015 has announced the main voice actors and production team. This work will combine the advantages of modern Japanese animation and add the animation characteristics of the Showa era to create an alternative and interesting work. It has both the old cliches of the 70s robot animation and the seasonal Kyoto culture, and then expresses the tradition and charm of Japanese sweets.

Kyoto Daijiro, the young Japanese confectionery shop owner who operates "Doamai D", is played by actor Ryodai Murai, who is active in TV dramas and stage plays. This is his first time to voice a protagonist in an animation. Hodo Anna, the storyteller who is always chasing Daijiro and Doamai D, is played by Naruse Eimi from the idol group "Denpagumi.inc".

In addition, the overall performance of this work is handled by Shifumi Doi, and the script is written by Urota Yoshida. The lyrics of the opening song "Go! Shocking Doamai D" and the ED song "Burning Doamai" are both written by Urota Yoshida, and the music is composed by Yuhiko Fukuda and Jiro Kono.
