The story takes place in a world where science is more advanced than it is today. 18-year-old Mizuki Tsukasa failed the college entrance exam, but thanks to his parents' connections, he was able to work at SAI, a world-renowned company. SAI is a company that manufactures and manages humanoid intelligent robots (commonly known as Giftia) with emotions, and Tsukasa was assigned to work in the terminal service department. This department is actually responsible for recycling Giftia that are about to expire, and is the so-called "window department (a department that is not valued)". So Tsukasa and the miscellaneous Giftia girl "Ella" formed a partner and started working together...
