CATDOLL: "Expelled from Paradise-" grossed 29.19 million yen in two days of release over the weekend

Last Saturday, November 15th, Gen Urobuchi's new theatrical version of "Expelled from Paradise" was released in 13 theaters across Japan. It has only been one weekend so far, but in just two days, it has raked in 29,194,600 yen at the box office in Japan, and the number of viewers has reached 17,274!

The only animation works that could reach this level before were "HK Hentai Mask" and "Ghost in the Shell SAC SSS 3D". However, the former had a box office of 16.28 million yen in 2 days and 10,117 viewers, while the latter had a box office of 22.26 million yen in 2 days and 11,423 viewers. The numbers are still not as good as "Paradise Chase". It is estimated that at this rate, the day when "Paradise Chase Chase" exceeds 100 million yen in box office is just around the corner.
