CATDOLL: Wait one more year! Full Metal Panic Season 4 will premiere in October 2017

At this time last year, Full Metal Panic announced that it would produce a new animation. Although this gave many fans a glimmer of hope, considering that the third season ended in 2005 and only a new animation was announced so far, it may be a long time before the new animation starts airing!

However, we don't have to wait 12 years this time. It will only take one more year for Full Metal Panic to be aired in October 2017. However, the animation will no longer be produced by Kyoto Animation, but by "XEBEC"! The team that was responsible for Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is the main force.

Production details: Series composition and all-episode scripts : Gato Shoji; Character design and general animation supervision : Horiuchi Osamu; Animation supervision : Yamamoto Aya; Animation design : Yoshioka Takeshi; Mechanical design : Ebikawa Kanetake and Ayara Toshiaki; Director : Nakayama Katsuichi.

As for the voice actors, the three main characters Chidori, Sousuke, and Tessa are still Yukino Satsuki, Seki Tomokazu, and Nogami Yukana, while the life stories of the other characters have not been announced yet.
