CATDOLL: Mushishi will be adapted into a live-action stage play in 2015

The popular TV anime "Mushishi" will be adapted into a stage play and will be performed on March 18, 2015. The purpose of this performance is to reproduce "Mushishi" in Live, and the original author Urushihara Yuki will also participate, the animation director Nagahama Hirofumi will be in charge of the stage original plan, and the voice actors of the TV anime will also be used in it. The 270-degree stage and AR technology will be used in this stage play.

"Mushishi" is a TV animation based on the manga of the same name created by Japanese manga artist Urushihara Yuki. The animation was produced by ARTLAND and aired on Fuji TV from October 22, 2005, with a total of 26 episodes. It won the 5th Tokyo Anime Award for Excellent TV Work in 2006, and was selected as a recommended work in the animation department of the 10th Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Media Arts Festival in 2006. The sequel "Mushishi: Sequel" was restarted on April 5, 2014, and the production company confirmed that it will tell the next plot one by one until the original work is completed.
