CATDOLL: The classic girl manga "Mysterious Game" is adapted into a live-action stage play

The classic girl manga "Mysterious Game" by Yuu Watase has been announced to be adapted into a stage play! The stage play will be performed at the eX3 Club of Shinagawa Prince Hotel from March 19th to 29th. Taketoyo Kiya of the Japanese visual kei band Golden Bomber will play the protagonist, Kijuku! The stage play will tell the story from Kijuku's perspective.

"Mysterious Game" is a work by Japanese manga artist Yuu Watase, which was serialized from 1992 to 1996, with a total of 18 volumes. The countries and characters in the story are all Chinese style, based on the Four Gods and the Twenty-Eight Constellations ("宿" is pronounced as xiù in pinyin), describing the heroines who accidentally entered the world of "Four Gods Book of Heaven and Earth" and became the shrine maidens representing the gods of the four different countries. They all had to gather their own Seven Stars and summon the gods to save the country. Among them, the heroine Yushiro Miju was regarded as the Suzaku shrine maiden of the Red South Country, and she also developed a touching love story with Gui Suzu, one of the Seven Stars of Suzaku under her command.
