In the "Weekly Morning" (Kodansha) released today (January 29), the new serialization of the manga "Rurouni Kenshin" written by Yoshikawa Eiji and illustrated by Takehiko Inoue has finally resumed about a year after the last serialization. The cover and the front color page of "Rurouni Kenshin" have finally been revealed. From now on, "Rurouni Kenshin" will be updated once a month, and it will be published on the third Thursday of each month after the serialization resumes. The 324th episode will not be available until February 19. The story of "Rurouni Kenshin" is adapted from Yoshikawa Eiji's novel "Miyamoto Musashi". It has been serialized in Kodansha's "Weekly Morning" magazine since 1998. The total circulation in Japan has exceeded 60 million copies by the 33rd volume. This work has won the 24th Kodansha Manga Award in the general department in 2000, the 4th Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival Manga Department Award in 2000, and the 6th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award in 2002. |
