CATDOLL: The team of 300 joins the live-action reboot of Robotech

The live-action version of Robotech has recently been announced to be rebooted, and the team behind 300 has been invited to join the special effects production. Warner Bros. purchased the rights to the animated series Robotech many years ago, but due to technical and market reasons, the film has not been officially filmed, and even the script has been revised again and again. Today, the film has finally been rebooted, which is good news for animation fans.

The first three series of the animated series Robotech, Macross, Macross, and Robotech, were produced by Japanese animation companies. In 1985, the American company Harmony Gold purchased the distribution rights of the first three series and re-edited them, with the English title "Robotech". After that, the United States began to produce the sequel and peripheral games of Robotech on its own, and the series gradually became popular around the world.

In the early 1990s, China introduced Robotech from Harmony Gold and dubbed it by Shanghai TV. The translated title was set as "Robotech". This animated series also became a precious memory for Chinese young audiences at that time. Although there have been constant reports of the live-action version of "Robotech" over the years, Warner Bros. has never really put it into action like today.

According to the film company, Warner Bros. has invited Michael Gordon to be the screenwriter, Mark Canton and Gianni Nunnali to be the producers, and intends to invite Andy Muschietti, the director of the horror film "Mom," to be the director. If the main creative team is finalized soon, the film's start date will not be so far away.
