CATDOLL: Mobile Suit Gundam UC COMPLETE BEST was named the best anime album of 2014

At the annual Japan Gold Disc Awards, one of Japan's major annual music awards, the Mobile Suit Gundam UC OST was selected as the Best Anime Album of 2014.

This award is based on the total sales of the album in the year from January 1 to December 31, 2014, and the winning album is "Mobile Suit Gundam UC COMPLETE BEST" which was released on October 8, 2014. This album has the theme songs of all chapters, including "Episode 7 Theme Song "StarRingChild"" sung by Aimer, which ranked third on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart when it debuted, and five vocal tracks with Hiroyuki Sawano as the accompaniment music.

The cover illustration is a new drawing of Banagher and Ridge by Kumiko Takahashi, who is the character designer for the animation.
