CATDOLL: Drews Taylor, the author of the cartoon "Barbepapa", has passed away

"Barbapa, Barbamama, Barbabette..." Do you still remember this cartoon that started with a tongue twister? It is a childhood classic for many people. But today, China's Relay Publishing House confirmed that Talus Taylor, a famous children's cartoonist who created the series of picture books "Barbapa", passed away on February 19 at the age of 82.

The first book in the "Barbapa series", "The Birth of Barbapapa", was published in 1970. As soon as it came out, it won the praise of the British literary critics and received wide acclaim at the Bologna Book Fair. In the past 40 years, "Barbapa" has been loved by people for its originality and sense of humor. In every corner of the world, children and even their parents have found happiness in the Barbapapa series of picture books, cartoons or animated films.
