Fujimi Shobo's April issue of Dragon Century announced on Monday that the limited edition of Ishita Kazue's light novel High School DxD DX.2 will come with a Blu-ray disc that includes an episode of the anime that has not been aired on TV. The episode is tentatively titled "The Phoenix That Cannot Be Resurrected" (蘇らない不死鳥). The book will be released on December 9. The light novel "High School DxD DX.1" also comes with a Blu-ray disc, which also includes an episode of the unreleased TV animation. This volume was released yesterday. The original light novel was written by Ichiro Ishita and illustrated by Rei Miyama. The light novel was adapted into two seasons of TV anime, which aired in 2012 and 2013 respectively, with the third season currently in production.
