The science fiction manga "Cyborg 009" written by the famous Japanese cartoonist Shotaro Ishimori was serialized in "Weekly Shonen King" published by Shonen Gaho on July 19, 1964, and it is about to reach its 50th anniversary. In order to commemorate this important moment, it was decided to launch a new animation of "Cyborg 009" and the visual image was released. At the same time, the director of this work was also announced. The director of the new work is Jun Kawagoe, who was the director of the TV animation "Cyborg 009 THE CYBORG SOLDIER" broadcast from 2001 to 2002.
